Although Concordia does not yet have an undergraduate Classics journal, there are a number of other opportunities for students to get their work published in peer-reviewed academic journals. The Students of History at Concordia’s (SHAC) journal, Historiae, is accepting paper submissions until February 2. You need not be enrolled as a history BA to submit, but the paper must have been written for a history course taken at Concordia. You can find more info on SHAC’s Facebook page.
The Concordia Undergraduate Journal of Art History is also accepting submissions (a 250 word abstract of the paper intended for submission must be sent first) until midnight on January 21. Again, you need not be enrolled as an art history BFA, but the paper must have been written for an art history course and have received a letter grade of A or higher. Send your abstract as a word doc. to email@example.com. As a reminder, an abstract is a concise summary of your thesis statement and the major points covered in your paper.
