This year the CCSA is working with the Mcgill CSA and UdM’s Classics Association to organize the 4th Annual Inter-University Classics Colloquium.
BA, MA, and PhD Students are encouraged to submit abstracts of any research treating some aspect of the ancient world. This is a great opportunity to present work you are proud of and passionate about in a constructive, interdisciplinary academic environment!
Abstract Submission Details:
Please submit a 500 (max. 750) word abstract of the paper you would like to present. This will be for a presentation that will last between 20 and 30 minutes. Papers must have been written for a previous course, receiving a letter grade of A- or above. You may, alternately, submit an abstract of ongoing research for a current course. Please be sure to indicate if your abstract is of current research or of a past paper. In the latter case, please also indicate the grade received and the course for which the paper was written. Your name should be clearly written. Each student is allowed to submit up two abstracts.
Deadline to submit abstracts: FEBRUARY 10th at 11:59pm.
Tentative dates for the Colloquium: 22nd and 23rd of March.
